blah blah blah.. seems the same ol stuff happens to me every single day. I could sit and blather on about work, but I tend not to want to relive work when Im home. Other than that I play with kittens and I sleep. Sad isn't it??
Im reading anna karenina. Its interesting. I have to work to keep the names straight so I know who they are refering to, but so far Ive done rather well. I recently finished part one. It isn't so interesting as I am dying to pick it up each night and read some though, which is too bad. When Im done I'll have to find a good page turner. Amy from work was recently reading one she said she was having a hard time putting down, I'll have to ask her what it was.. although by the time I finish Anna, she'll have forgotten what it was lol.
On the political front, John Kerry announced his running mate yesterday, and had the first public appearance today. can we say BFD?? its amazing how big this stuff is in the media. Oh yes.. we are nice people.. see our pretty wives? and our pretty children? and look at the nice pretty back drop we choose for this occasion, aren't we amazing? you should so vote for us, cause look, my running mate is so hansome! *rolls eyes* Why on earth can't these guys say something like: "Hi, my name is John, I believe in A, B, C. I think D, E, F is wrong and should be fixed, and I stand behind G,H, I." but nooooo.. we've got to have all the window dressing for when all the mud slinging starts.. vote for me cause he sucks. I hate that most of us vote for who ever it is we vote for because we can't stand the other guy. I also hate that so many people are wrapped in party lines that compromise is totally out of the question, which means people spend their lives in the crossfire and never succeed in getting any serious help out of the goverment.
